Halfway to Hollywood

Whether it’s the nostalgia of Gone With the Wind or the sassy fashions of Katharine Hepburn, women have long been inspired to recreate the glamour of film stars through movie-imagined clothes. Like picture-goers of the thirties and forties, we escaped into the world of cinema’s golden age, exploring sensational styles and stories from behind the camera. From the creators of Woman in Gold and Divine Deco, Halfway to Hollywood is a two-person presentation by Lucy Adlington and costumier Meridith Towne, followed by a chance to look closely at the display and ask questions.
Afternoon
Kate Ireland
